Thingiverse Import
A collapsible traffic cone. The sections should be captive (there are some strips on the bottom to hold them in)It's configurable in the openscad file for the size of the cone, number of sections, wall thickness etc. There is a variable that you can set to TRUE to render the cone extended so you can see how it looks.I have printed a small one so far but my TOM is taken apart a bit right now so I haven't printed a large one. Will this count for the tallest object record if I ever get around to printing a full size one? --- Imported from Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:7788 Original creator: jag

This is meant to be incorporated in larger things. Say you're printing a device enclosure and you want it to have an ethernet port, or you just want to use RJ-45 as a convenient 8 pin connector. Add this to your design and you can use the modular RJ-45 jacks sold at hardware stores that are meant to clip into wall plates.Updated: Tightened the opening to clip more securely, cleaned up the openscad code, and made the whole thing a module to more facilitate use in other designs. Now jacks clip in so tightly that its hard to get them out again. --- Imported from Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6647 Original creator: jsadusk

I wrote a script to generate lasercut boxes. The script reads a config file with the box dimensions and generates a DXF file and an OpenSCAD model. We use the script for all types of cases here at metalab. The example file attached is the case of our electronic door lock system. The script can be found here:http://svn.clifford.at/handicraft/2009/boxgen/You might need to install SPL (the scripting language I've used for the script) before you can use the script:http://www.clifford.at/spl/ --- Imported from Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1541 Original creator: clifford

I recently posted a valve cap for Presta valves ( http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:10570 ), but at least in the US Schrader valves are much more common. So I made a Schrader version. Replace your constantly lost valve caps!If you don't know whether you have Schrader or Presta, if you're in the US you probably have Schrader, and if you're in Europe you probably have Presta. --- Imported from Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:10700 Original creator: jsadusk

A tool that simplifies the process of combining multiple STLs into a single file for larger volume 3D printing. Using OpenSCAD, the user can define their build volume, import multiple STLs, and position them around in 3D space without having to write the code by hand.Editable Parameters:Position from center(mm): x,y,zRotation about axis(degrees): x,y,zMirror about plane: x,y,zFor strategies on creating printing plates efficiently, there is a good writeup on the MakerBot blog: http://www.makerbot.com/blog/2011/09/19/how-to-make-a-printing-plate/ --- Imported from Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:12831 Original creator: Starno
