My wife ran out of room on her earring holder, so I printed another. Each piece holds 7 pairs of earrings, and you can put multiple pieces end-to-end to hold more. You can print one diagonally on a Cupcake ABP.This thing could be useful to all the folks who printed the earrings! --- Imported from Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:7546 Original creator: Dithermaster

A lamp I made in the shape of the 34th Stellation of an Icosahedron. This is actually the same shape as my "Star". You might find more of the idea of the geometry of this lamp by looking at the "Star". --- Imported from Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5539 Original creator: JonFS

Visit any brick-and-mortar business that has a service counter and you will likely see a small plastic or wood easel holding a stack of business cards. I have also seen this type of easel used in restaurants, museums and offices holding up some kind of fixed message card. The upper photo shows a business card (87mm X 50mm) on the easel to get an idea of size. The easel itself is 47mm X 40mm (W X H) and leans back at something like 17 degrees. This easel will hold a dozen flat business cards and there is a 0.7mm lip on the leading edge of the easel's ledge to help hold the cards in place. --- Imported from Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3552 Original creator: ElectronicKit

This is a simple enclosure that I designed for an Arduino Duemilanove (USB).The "top" part slides into the bottom one. The one I printed has enough friction that I didn't need any glue to hold the two parts together, yet they can still be taken apart when needed. There is a hole on the side opposite from the USB port through which you can put cables. There are also two holes in the top part that I used for a led and a push-button. Those can be easily commented out if not needed. --- Imported from Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:8157 Original creator: crox

In the spirit of Rahsaan Roland Kirk, we designed a mouthpiece for the Anarchestra that was supposed to play 2 instruments at the same time. Then we printed a prototype on a 3D printer in ABS plastic, and attached it to 2 homemade musical instruments. However, the experiment did not work. We could only get sound from one, but not both, of the instruments (from the pipe with the hole closest to the mouthpiece).Perhaps we could get the mouthpiece to work by tweaking the design. Specifically, we might add a separator in the middle -- between the arc and the reed holder -- in the throat of the dual mouthpiece. That separator might be as thin as a razor blade, and would be added lengthwise (parallel with the blowing air, in order to avoid creating additional turbulence). Perhaps the 2 resulting new chambers in the throat cylinder would also have to be enlarged, for acoustical reasons.(If one could print the dual mouthpiece in glass (or maybe see-thru plastic), he might blow smoke through the transparent dual mouthpiece to see the turbulence, and then redefine the design to get rid of that turbulence)There are other flaws in the design:The slope of the reed holder needs to be adjusted so that the reed fits snugly on the dual mouthpiece, without leaving a gap. The housing of the reed holder section needs a slight bulge around its circumference, so that the metal reed holders can slip over the mouthpiece housing, and securely hold the reed to the mouthpiece. Also the tip of the mouthpiece needs to be rounded slightly, whereas in our design the tip is straight.Anyone is welcome to download the file and improve the design.Rahsaan Roland Kirk: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aVU34lV3fVc#t=00m22sAnarchestra: http://www.anarchestra.net/index2.phpMore creations on my Posterous blog: http://krrrl.posterous.com/ --- Imported from Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3769 Original creator: Krrrl

Compact portable key chain/paperweight for portable protection from overbearing papers and key chains that need to have their trap shut. Make sure you don't get caught off guard in those 2 on 1 situations where those papers try to surround you unfairly. Caution: use at your own risk, not only could this be considered a weapon, but can cause serious damage to stationary and other things... --- Imported from Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:325 Original creator: daewootech

A piece I printed turned out to be of a different size than it should be. I couldn't figure out what was going on so I created this test piece set to check what's working ok and what is not. --- Imported from Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:15586 Original creator: ttsalo
