Thanks to sconine for his Mechanical Animals thing:11980 I made a few changes to his dolphin i.e. I redesigned the stand in two parts to enable flat printing and better holes and made detachable waves so you can print them in different colors. It's a puzzle/game type thing just to play around with. You're supposed to be able to spin the three inserts around and remove them, but there is only one way they fit together to sit flat. It's not very difficult, but it's still fun.I didn't design this object. Sandpaper Holder

I got some sheets of sandpaper 230mmx280mm (a little wider and shorter than A4) and wanted a handy holder to turn strips of it into sanding blocks to make jobs easier. Soap shaver - soap bar dispenser

Most soap in the world is provided in the form of bars. Bars, that are deployed on grids or basins, that inevitably turn into a rather filthy, slimy affair. This soap bar dispenser works differently. The soap bar is never in contact with water. Using the sled, you shave off flakes of soap from the bar. (Note - the dispenser in my picture was aborted in mid-print, because I ran out of ABS and changing the spool did not work as expected. The model dispenser is higher, and the scad file is parametric anyway.)This thing is public domain, because caring is sharing and I am counting on the thingiverse hivemind to make this more awesome. ER16 Collet Box

ER16 collets are a fantastic toolholding system for small milling machines like the Taig, but keeping them organized is a pain. I needed a better storage system than the 'jumbled pile on a workbench' method that I had been using, and I've never seen any caddies or organizers for ER16 collets for sale.I whipped up a simple box in SolidWorks to hold 15 collets with a matching lid. My original plan was to have hinges as part of the actual model, but I was in a hurry and just used the smallest hinges I could find at the home improvement store.
