This is a derivative of the monkeybot on thingiverse. I made numerous edits to achieve a snap fit so glue would not be required. I added small sacrificial bumps to the "fit" pieces so the fit would be tight. I changed the tail, head and other pieces. I made the cat head version first and as you can see his minions came to his defense. I made a version with fork and spoon for a Paella party we threw this weekend and everyone put together their own forkbot while under the influence of Sangria. --- Imported from Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:561 Original creator: Joulebox

Just like the original Eggbot coordinate demo plot but expanded to a full 1000 pixels tall just to see what this bot can do. I printed it successfully on a lightbulb but a. the pen arm gets awfully close to the headstock so be careful and b. I modified the file in Illustrator (oh how I loathe Inkscape) so it prints a little out of order. --- Imported from Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4796 Original creator: bwevans

This is a gear I designed to go with my plans for a Buld Your Own CNC inspired mill. It has a 3/16 hole to be able to use on nema 17 motors, but it was designed to be an idler pulley since we make them in plastic. It is usable with the chain that he has on that site (40-1) --- Imported from Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4755 Original creator: flintols

I once wanted to make a wind/water turbine to generate electricity.but I have no wood/metal-working skills so the project failed.but since I heard about 3d printers the idea of just printing it came to mind.so here I designed a turbine in openSCAD.its probably not that good and I have doubts about the printability and durability .but I hope somebody has use for it. --- Imported from Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1613 Original creator: random

It being summer now, my local hackerspace Sprout has started needed ventilation. We have a box fan (and, over the years, I've had several) that had no knob. Did we lose it? Did it break? Did the knob fairies make off with it? Who knows. I do know that my fingers hurt from trying to turn it and I never seemed to have a pair of pliers handy. I did have a Thing-o-Matic, though...I started by downloading Stove Knob by wizard23 and while it did technically work, the hole for the shaft was too large and my fan, like many others I have seen, gets along better with a knob that has a shaft receptacle extending a good bit beyond the back of the larger, human-friendly knob part. I started over and spent a few minutes in Sketchup making a model. The first print didn't provide enough tolerance for the ooze and the shaft of the fan switch wouldn't fit. I scaled it up a bit and the third try worked perfectly. --- Imported from Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:9539 Original creator: waaronw
